Healthy Schools
We are proud to have achieved the Healthy Schools Award, which reflects our whole-school commitment to supporting the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of every child. Promoting healthy lifestyles is embedded across our curriculum, daily routines, and wider school culture.
Our approach encourages pupils to develop positive habits that support lifelong wellbeing. This includes learning about healthy eating, staying active, understanding emotions, and building resilience. Wellbeing is promoted both in the classroom and beyond, ensuring children feel safe, supported, and confident to thrive.
Physical wellbeing is a key priority, and pupils benefit from a wide range of opportunities to be active throughout the school day. In addition to high-quality PE provision, we offer a broad programme of extracurricular sporting activities that promote teamwork, perseverance, and enjoyment of physical activity. These opportunities help children discover new interests while developing confidence and a positive attitude towards exercise.
Our Healthy Schools Award recognises the strong partnership between staff, pupils, and families in promoting wellbeing. Together, we foster an environment where healthy choices are encouraged, wellbeing is valued, and every child is supported to reach their full potential.
