Admissions Information

Frieth CEC School consulted on its admissions policy in 2024.

Please find attached a letter from the Headteacher and a copy of our admissions policy 2025-26.

If you are interested in a place for your child starting school for the first time at Frieth CEC school then please come along to our Open Evening. In order to apply for a place you will need to complete the application process via the Local Authority, Buckinghamshire Council.

The Governing Body of the school is responsible for decisions relating to admissions, but works closely with the Local Authority who co-ordinate admissions to all schools in Buckinghamshire.  A copy of our admissions policy is available on this page.

Children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 will start school in September 2024.  Applications should be made via Buckinghamshire Council.  The closing date for applications is midnight on January 15th each year. Please contact the Local Authority regarding any late applications.  Our admissions policy for September 2024 can be found on this page.

Appeals

If you are not successful in being offered a place at Frieth C E C School, you have the right to appeal the decision.  Appeals are run by an independent panel at the Oxford Diocese.  An appeal form should be completed and returned to the school office.  Appeals are usually held 30 school days from receipt of appeal form.

If your appeal is regarding the allocation of a place for your child to start school for the first time then the appeal process follows a timetable set out by the Diocese.

For more information about admissions and appeals please use the local authority and the oxford diocese links below.
